2018 Liberty League All-Academic

2018: An important back-row contributor for the Brewers into her junior campaign...tied for the most sets played on the team, getting into all 97 sets … started four times … posted 272 digs on the season, third-most on the squad … added 34 service aces, fourth-most among Brewers’ players … finished the season with 2.80 digs per set … posted 12 matches with 10 or more digs … had a season and career-best 29 digs with two assists against Fredonia on Sept. 8 … posted 28 digs with five assists and three service aces in a five-set loss to Scranton on Sept. 8 … Totalled 23 digs in a four-set win over Oswego State on September 7 …   in a three-set victory over Bates College September 9...chalked up 15 digs against the University of New England September 9...matched a career-high with four aces at Stevens September 27...had at least one service ace in 19 of 25 matches, including a season and career-high four in a five-set loss to nationally-ranked Johns Hopkins on October 13.

2017: Continued her role as an important back-row contributor for the Brewers as a sophomore...played in the most sets of any player on the team, getting into 105 of 106 sets for the Brewers...started nine times...posted 265 digs on the season, fourth-most on the squad...added 40 service aces, the third-most among VC players...finished the season with 2.52 digs per set...had a season and career-best 20 digs against Nazareth on September 30...posted 10 matches with 10 or more digs...posted 18 digs in a three-set victory over Bates College September 9...chalked up 15 digs against the University of New England September 9...matched a career-high with four aces at Stevens September 27...had at least one service ace in 10 of the final 11 matches...added four kills from the back row.  

2016: Stepped right into a big role as a defensive specialist for the Brewers, as she was one of just three members of the team to play in all 31 matches in 2016...started eight times for the Brewers, while playing in 112 sets...had the second-most digs of any player on the squad with 235...posted four kills out of the back row for Vassar as well...finished with 41 service aces, third-most on the team...chalked up 18 matches with seven or more digs for the Brewers...finished the season with 2.10 digs per set...posted a career-high 13 digs in three matches, including Union (October 21), Clarkson (October 22) and Skidmore (October 22)...posted 12 digs in four matches...had at least one aces in the final six matches of the year for Vassar...registered four aces against Pitt-Bradford September 10...posted three aces against Skidmore Oct. 22...will look to take over the libero duties as a sophomore. 

PRIOR TO VASSAR: Competed for the Gators of Sacred Heart Prep, along with Redrock Volleyball Club...was voted All-Western Catholic Athletic League Honorable Mention as a junior, earning Second Team accolades as a senior...earned Academic All-American honors as a sophomore, junior and senior...Honors Convocation for Latin as a sophomore...AP English Honors Convocation as a junior. 

PERSONAL: Parents William and Clarissa Schreeder...has one sibling, Camden (20)...anthropology major...chose Vassar over such schools as Wesleyan, Bowdoin, Connecticut College, Tufts, Carnegie Mellon and Dartmouth.
