XC: Dealt with injuries much of the season...was able to compete in three races for the Brewers...placed
13th for Vassar at the Liberty League Championships.
Track: Liberty League All Academic Team…started the season finishing thirtieth in the 1500m with a time of 5:22.59 at the 2017 Willie Williams Classic Collegiate Opener…finished twenty-ninth at the Silfen Track & Field Invitational in the 1500m with a time of 5:26.37…finished tenth at the Liberty League Championships in the 1500m with a time of 5:19.14…finished forty-second at the 2017 Yale Springtime Invitational in the 1500m with a time of 5:19.68…ended the season strong by finishing in eleventh place with a seasonal best in the 1500m event of 5:09.62.
2015-2016
XC: Only raced three races this season as she struggled with injuries...posted a 19:55 at the Saratoga Invitational...placed 53rd overall at the Seven Sisters Championship...clocked a 25:34 at her last race of the season at the Liberty League Championships.
2014-2015
Track: Battled injuries through some of the season, but still managed to compete in six different events for the Brewers in the 1500 and 5000 meter runs...posted a 5:24.45 in her first collegiate meet at the Monmouth Season Opener in the 1500 meters...chalked up a then personal-best 5:12.76 in the 1500 meters at the Liberty League Championships, taking 18th overall...registered a 1500 meter personal-best 5:11.18 at the Yale Springtime Invitational April 26...took sixth in the 5k in her final run of the year at the Matthew Vassar Invitational, booking a personal-best 19:01.44.
XC: Placed third for Vassar at the Marist Invitational...placed fourth for Vassar and tenth overall at the Ron Stonitsch Invitational...ran a 5k personal best of 18:59 to place sixth for the Brewers and 50th overall out of 201 at the Saratoga Invitational.
PRIOR TO VASSAR: Was a four-year letter winner for Jason DeJoy and the cross country squad at Pittsford Mendon...was a captain as a senior...earned All-County and qualified for the state meet as a junior...earned a team sectional championship and was 9th as a team at the NYS Federation Championships...was a 2013 and 2014 track team sectional champion...earned Honor Roll all four years...was president of the French Club...Student Council member.
PERSONAL: Parents are Michael and Kathy Pieper...has a twin sister, Lilly, who runs at Hamilton College...planning on majoring in STS...also looked at Holy Cross and Hamilton College before deciding on Vassar.
