Biography

PRIOR TO VASSAR: Was a standout for the Vikings of Pittsford Mendon...competed in cross country, track and field and nordic skiing...named co-captain as a junior and senior in track, while earning captain honors as a senior in cross country...voted Most Improved in 2014...named Second Team All-County as a senior in track and field...helped her team to a sectional title all four years at Pittsford Mendon...brings personal bests of 20:36 in the 5k, 19:38 in the 3-mile, 5:20 in the 1500 meters and 11:21 in the 3000 meters...Honor Roll and Scholar Athlete. 

PERSONAL: Daughter of Bill and Mary Therese Novak...undeclared major...chose Vassar over Villanova University, Union College and St. Lawrence University...chose Vassar because "of its small, passionate, and engaging community. Also, I loved the idea of a liberal arts college with an open curriculum since I am currently undecided."
