Prior to Vassar: Lettered five years in soccer and track...started all five years in soccer and captained one year...District Champions 2007-08...All-District First Team 2007 I-3AAA, Second Team 2009 I-3AA, Honorable Metnion I-4AAA 2010...District Champion In Track 2007-10, individual titles in Long Jump, 4x100 and 4x200...school record I-3AAA District Track in the 4x100.

Personal: Mother is Yvonne Portell...brothers are Corey and Matt and sisters are Crystal and Tara...National Honor Society and Valedictorian...currently a Psychology major with a minor in English...chose Vassar over Stanford, Brown and Rice...picked Vassar because, "I was matched through Quest Bridge National College Match."
