2016-17: Averaged a score of 93.1 points per round this season... finished the season averaging a par of +21... Played a low round of 90 against Whittier (3/15/17), good for +16... Best two-round score of 175 in the Mount Holyoke Invitational (9/24-25/2016)...played a low round of 87 three times: in the second round of the Williams College Fall Invitational (10/1-2/2016) where she played 62nd out of 98 women, in the second round of Vassar College Invitational (4/8-9/2017) where she placed 48th out of 64, and at the Liberty League Championships (4/22-23/2017) where finished 31 out of 35. 

PRIOR TO VASSAR: Was an all-state golfer as a senior for the Rangers of Forest Hills Central High...played on the Adams Golf Junior Tour during her junior and senior seasons...was a co-captain of the Rangers golf squad her senior season...earned All-State Honorable Mention as a junior...picked as an All-State Academic team honoree in 2014 and 2015...earned three varsity letters...AP Scholar Award winner.

PERSONAL: Daughter of Hongying and Paul Shay...planning to major in chemistry.
