2020: Outdoor season canceled due to Covid-19

2019: Competed in six meets… Season-best 2:08.58 in the 800m at the Monmouth Season Opener (3/29) and 4:24.23 in the 1,500m at the Willie Williams Classic (3/15).

2018: Competed in eight meets as a sophomore… At the Willie Williams Classic season opener on Mar 16-16 ran the 800m in 2:00.92 and the 1,500m in 4:09.75… Placed 8^th in the 1,500 with a time of 4:11.66 at the Ramapo Invite (3/30-31)… Also helped the 4x800 relay to a 2^nd place finish at 8:01.08… Placed third at the TCNJ Invite (4/6-8) in the 1,500m with a time of 4:13.58… At the Vassar Brewer’s Invitational (4/21) was 9^th in the 1,500m at 4:10.97… Posted a 2:00.09 mark at the Lions Invitational (4/27-28)… Ran a career-best 1:59.88 in the 800m at the Liberty League Championships (5/4-5) for 14^th place… Followed up with a career-record 4:06.54 in the 1,500 at the Swarthmore Final Qualifier (5/14)… Closed the season with a second-place showing in the 4x800 relay with a time of 7:56.28

2016: Competed in ten events this season…started off the season finishing twenty-third in the 5000m event with a personal collegiate best time of 16:56.63 at the Ramapo College Track & Field Invitational…finished twenty-fifth in the 800m event with a personal collegiate best time of 2:05.46 at the 2017 TCNJ Invitational…finished fifteenth in the 1500m event with a time of 4:20.43 at the Liberty League Championships…finished seventeenth in the 1500m event with a time of 4:21.99 at the 2017 Yale Springtime Invitational…ended the season strong finishing thirteenth at the Matthew Vassar Twilight meet in the 1500m event with a personal best collegiate time of 4:16.84.

PRIOR TO VASSAR: Bashant was a 11-time letter winner for the Scotties of Ballston Spa High School, competing in cross country, indoor and outdoor track...won three letters in cross country, serving as captain junior and senior year...was voted Suburban Council All-Star as a junior and senior...voted as team MVP in 2014 and 2015 in cross country, earning MVP as a junior in indoor track and as a senior in outdoor...ran personal best times of 2:00.65 in the 800 meters, while posting a 4.26:42 in the 1600 meters...National Honor Society member.
