2017: Was an important part of the best statistical season for the Brewer defense ever...played in all 16 games for Vassar, starting 12 times...posted 14 ground balls while causing 11 turnovers...his 11 caused turnovers were the fourth-most on the squad...posted three caused turnovers and two ground balls at No. 2 RIT on April 22...finished with two caused turnovers and two loose ball pickups in a 19-4 win over Bard College...had at least one caused turnover in each of the final four games...in a 10-3 win over Oneonta, posted three ground balls and a caused turnover...in a 10-9 win at Clarkson April 8, chalked up two ground balls and a caused turnover...against Swarthmore on March 4, posted two ground balls and one caused turnover.
2016: Liberty League All- Academic...Appeared in 16 games, starting in 11...won 45 of 100 face-offs with a 3-0 performance against Western Conn. St...picked up 24 ground balls...caused 12 turnovers.
2015: Liberty League All-Academic…appeared in five games…had a caused turnover vs. Skidmore (3/28).
2014: Played in 12 games with one start...won 7-of-19 on face-offs with a 3-of-8 performance against St. Lawrence...picked up nine ground balls and caused six turnovers.
PRIOR TO VASSAR: Lettered and started for three years as a Deerfield Warrior...captained two years...lettered four years on the hockey team including one year as a starter...two-time All-Conference...first player from Deerfield to go on to the collegiate level of play in lacrosse...All-Conference hockey...two White Division State Titles in hockey...Honor Society, Longevity Teen Committee and Spanish Honor Society.
PERSONAL: Parents are Rob and Juli Mages...worked for the Chicago Bears for a little while this past summer (2013)...majors in economics...picked Vassar over Kenyon College and Swarthmore College...chose Vassar because, "Amazing school, great campus and very nice students."
