2019: Played in eight games, starting four as a defender… Finished the season with five groundballs.
2018: As a junior, appeared in 10 games at defense… Collected three groundballs and caused three turnovers… He tallied a season-best two caused turnovers against Skidmore in the final game of the season.
2017: Zimmerman played in four games for the Brewers during his second year with the Brewers, taking one shot...picked up one ground ball in addition to one caused turnover...his first action of the season came in an 8-3 win over Swarthmore College, causing one turnover...picked up a ground ball against Bryn Athyn College.
2016: Played in the first game of the season against Western Conn. St. (2/24), but was out the rest of the season due to injury.
PRIOR TO VASSAR: Captained the lacrosse team his junior and senior seasons at Francis Parker School... 2013 CIF Champions in 2013... 2015 Pacific League Champions... In his senior season, he totaled 15 goals, 4 assists, 125 ground balls and caused 33 turnovers over 11 games... Earned the 2015 Pacific League Player of the Year honor.. Other teams he played on include the Laxdawgs Elite and West Coast Starz... Also started on the basketball team all four years as a Lancer... Earned Academic High Honors... Cum Laude Society... AP Scholar with Distinction
PERSONAL: Parents are Celia and Jim Zimmerman...mother was a diver at Princeton University...majoring in computer science...grandfather played basketball at Henderson State University... Chose Vassar for its "lacrosse team, academics and reputation."
