BEFORE VASSAR: Played lacrosse in high school, lettering all four years… Also ran track, lettering two years… Captain of lacrosse his junior and senior years… Named team offensive MVP his freshman and sophomore years, and team MVP his junior year… Named Conference Player of the Year his junior year… Awarded All-Conference honors his freshman, sophomore and junior years… Scored 205 goals and had 114 assists and 208 ground balls in 55 career games… Scored 71 goals his junior year ...

PERSONAL: Child of Sonda and Jay McFarland… Chose Vassar for the high level of academics and ability to continue playing lacrosse.
