PRIOR TO VASSAR: Competed in fencing, cross country, and track and field at Irvington High School... Named fencing captain sophomore, junior, and senior years... Track captain as a senior... Awarded fencing all-league as a senior.

PERSONAL: "I chose Vassar for the Liberal Arts education and great biology program. I also knew the pre-med program at Vassar is very strong, which was an obvious benefit for me."
