Vassar College Athletics

2017-18: Choi remained an important competitor for the Brewers, contributing to the team’s success…a foil fencer, he finished the season 20-21…went 12-5 at the Matt Lampell Hudson River Invite… went undefeated against Cornell, RPI, Drew University and University of Rochester…contributed 6 wins at the Vassar Invitational and went 1-0 against West Point University… placed 37^th overall at the NCAA Northeast Regional.
 
PRIOR TO VASSAR: Currently a “C” rated foil fencer by the USFA…graduated from Valley Catholic High School…member of National Honor Society…comes to Vassar after spending time at the Northwest Fencing Center, Portland OR, with Coach Christophe Duclos and Simon Abram…qualified USFA National Certified Referee…USA Fencing All-Academic Team.

PERSONAL: Parents are Yang Choi and Kate Choi...Cognitive science major. "I chose Vassar College because it gives me the opportunity to enjoy the sport I love and offers a small class size where I can have a close relationship with my professors. Vassar College also has many resources to help me figure out what I want to do with my future."
