2015-16:
XC: Earned the MVP spot for Vassar this season, placing 1st for the Brewers in every race ran this year...his first race set the tone for his season as he ran 1st overall at the New Paltz 3200m Season Opener in a time of 9:45...placed 6th overall at his home course at the Ron Stonitsch Inviational, clocking a 20:07, just one second off his personal best 6k from the previous year...dropped almost 30 seconds in the next race to lead the team and set a new personal record of 19:40 at the Saratoga Invitational... beat nearly 200 runners at the Purple Valley Classic as he almost broke the 27 minute barrier on the tough Williams course...set his all time personal best of 25:43 at the Conn College Invitational where he placed 13th among 300 high caliber runners...ran impressively at the Liberty League Championships to place 11th overall to earn All-League honors, clocking a 26:27...ran well at the NCAA DIII Atlantic Regional Championship meet to lead the Brewers to a 15th place finish in a time of 26:19.
Track: Qualified for the ECAC Championships in the 5000m with a school record time of 15:07.65...Scarlett scored for Vassar at the Liberty League Championships, finishing sixth in the 5000m...finished second for Vassar in the 1500m at the Matthew Vassar Twilight Invitational with a personal best 4:01.10...closed his 2016 season with a 15th place finish in the 5000m at the ECAC Championships.

2014-15:
XC: Placed third for the Brewers at the Ron Stonitsch Invitational...placed third for Vassar at the Saratoga Invitational in a personal best 6k time of 20:06...ran a personal best 8k time of 27:23 at the James Earley Invitational...placed fourth for Vassar at the Conn College Invitational...placed second for Vassar at the Regional Championship.
Track: Scarlett blossomed on the track this year, becoming one of the top runners for the Brewers...posted two top times for Vassar this season, setting the pace in the 3000 and 5000 meter runs...also helped Vassar set a school record in the 4x800 meter relay at the ECAC Championships...finished fourth at the Matthew Vassar Twilight Meet in the 5000 meters, running a 15:36.54...set his personal best in the 5k at the Sam Howell Invitational, VC's best time in the event all season...ran a 4:05.58 in the 1500 meters at Yale Springtime Invitational. 

PRIOR TO VASSAR: Lettered in cross country, indoor and outdoor track for the Falcons of Cambridge Rindge and Latin...was a captain for all three sports as a senior...two-time Greater Boston League cross country champion...was voted as a four-time GBL All-Star...helped 4x800 relay earn a 2014 Massachusetts State title...earned seventh in the mile at states in 2014.

PERSONAL: Parents are Jon Scarlett and Janet Domenitz...has one brother, Matthew (17)...urban studies and politcal science major.
