2015-16: Liberty League All-Academic...Captained the 2015-16 squad... Started all 26 games, totaling 937 minutes to average 36 minutes per game, the most in the Liberty League...Wasyl was second in scoring for the Brewers, scoring a total of 392 points to average 15.1 points per game. Ranked tenth in the Liberty league in scoring. He led the Brewers in triples, connecting on 68 of his 170 three-point attempts. Ranked second in the Liberty League in 3-point goals per game. Wasyl was the most accurate Brewer from the free-throw line, connecting on an impressive 80.6% of his attempts...Wasyl was second for the Brewers in assists, dishing out 59 assists to average 2.3 assists per game. Wasyl scored a season-high 21 points against Gustavus Adolphus (12/28/15), connecting on 5 of his 6 triple attempts for 83.3%. He went on to equal that season-high twice more against RIT (1/22/16) and Bard College (1/26/16). He logged 19 points and 12 boards against Skidmore College (2/13/16) for a massive double-double.

2014-15: Finished junior season as one of the most accurate and effective three point shooters in the Liberty League…All-Liberty League Honorable Mention...named a team captain…started in 23 of 25 games played…averaged a team-best 12.2 points per game to total 306 on the season…62 three pointers made tied for seventh all-time for a season in school history…shot .426 overall, .363 from behind the arc, and .760 from the free throw line…averaged 2.2 assists per game totaling 56 on the year…averaged 2.8 rebounds per game to total 66…tallied season-high eight assists in season-opening win over Wheelock (11/15)…twice collected season-high six rebounds against New Paltz (11/18) and Union (1/2/15)…finished with a season-high 22 points against Maritime (1/12)…made career-high six three pointers against Hobart (1/16)…had 20 points, 2 assists and four rebounds in win vs. Union (1/31)…scored 18 points against Clarkson (2/6)...netted 14 points in season finale against RPI (2/20). 

2013-14: Played and started all 27 games this season...led the team in time spent on the court with 999 minutes...averaged 12.3 points per game with a career-high 26 points against Western Connecticut State University (11/26)...more than doubled his points in his freshman season with 332 this year...scored in every game, rebounded in every game and dished out an assist in all but one game...career-best 10 assists against Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (1/28) in his first collegiate double-double with the addition of his 21 points...#1 on the team in assists with 77 and 2.9 per game...led the Liberty League and was #2 in the nation in seperate stays shooting 48.5 percent from the three-point arc (need 2.5 three-pointers per game to be ranked and finished the season with 2.4)...second on the team with 78 percent average from the free throw line.

2012-13: Played in 22 games…averaged 7.1 points per game…scored a career-high 16 points twice in the season…scored double figures nine times…posted a career-high seven rebounds against Skidmore College…had a season total of 157 points…ranked second in 3-point shots with a .444 percentage on the season.

PRIOR TO VASSAR: Lettered four years at Coginchang Regional High School for coach Todd Salva…earned All-Shoreline Conference and All-State honors twice…named Academic All-State…earned 1,000 points over his high school career.

PERSONAL: Parents are Michael and Chika Wasyl...majoring in Biology...chose Vassar for the "opportunity to play basketball while challenging himself in the classroom"...chose Vassar over Wesleyan University, Grinnell College, Tufts University, Oberlin College, Swarthmore College and Haverford College.
