2019: Liberty League All-Academic selection…started one game for the Brewers, seeing time in all 19…spent a total of 637 minutes on the field…scored four goals, including one game winner against Stevens on August 30th, accumulating eight points…had a shot on goal percentage on .690.
2018: Continued her time in the forward line for the Brewers, coming off the bench to make an impact on offense…scored against RPI…had a .692 shooting percentage off 13 shots…accumulated 418 minutes.
2017: Began her Brewer career by contributing in 14 games…scored twice versus Western Connecticut State on 9/13/17.
PRIOR TO VASSAR: Was a three-year letter winner for the Braves of Newton High School on the field hockey field, also earning four letters in the pool while playing varsity golf as well...named as a senior captain on the field hockey squad in 2016...named as the Team MVP as a junior...First Team All-State Group 1...also named Sports Beat Player of the Year...First Team All-County during her junior and senior seasons...First Team New Jersey Herald twice, while earning Scholar Athlete honors during four years at Newton...led her team, conference and county in assists for two straight seasons...helped the Braves to three sectional titles, while also helping Newton to a pair of Conference Championships...played with the NJ Starz travel club team...was president of Spanish National Honor Society...National Honor Society member, while serving as the Public Relations Officer of the Interact Community Service Club.
PERSONAL: Parents Anthony and Eva Rizzo...has two siblings, Anthony (20) and Michael (16)...majoring in computer science and economics...chose Vassar because of "the incredible opportunity to mix great academics with competitive field hockey in such a warm, welcoming environment."
