2015: Johnson continued his productive career with the Brewers in 2015, as he slotted in as the clean-up hitter for the second straight season...finished second on the team in hitting this year with a .369 batting clip, which was the highest batting average of his career for a season...11th in batting in the Liberty League...his 15 doubles were the second-most during the regular season in the conference...double total was the fourth-most in a season ever at Vassar...slugging percentage of .544 in 2015 was the fifth-highest ever for a single campaign at VC...led the Brewers this year in RBI with 18 and extra-base hits with 16...had 10 games with multiple hits...went 4-for-6 with two RBI and two runs in a win over Southern Vermont...chalked up two doubles in opening day against Hope College March 14...was 3-for-3 with two doubles and three runs score against Skidmore in game two April 15...posted hits in all three at-bats against Rochester in game one April 18...belted a homer at Skidmore April 15, his second career home run...posted a 3-for-5 afternoon against John Jay May 2...finished his junior year second all-time in doubles with 38...fifth all-time in batting average with a .337 batting clip...ninth in total hits with 123 going into his senior season...pitched in three games as a junior, going 0-1.Â

2013: Started his Vassar College baseball career in style, starting all 39 games, mostly in the outfield…has a short, quick stroke to the ball…was third on the team as a freshman in batting, registering a .315 clip…was second on the team in at-bats, connecting for 45 hits, seven doubles and a triple…gunned down seven runners from the outfield…drove in 23 runs as a freshman, second on the team…scored 13 runs and was successful on all three of his stolen base attempts…registered a season-best three hits in six plate appearances against Manhattanville (May 1)…added another three hits against St. Lawrence in the season finale…connected for 11 multi-hit affairs…drove in two or more runs in seven games, highlighted by three RBI games against RIT (Apr. 27) and RPI (Apr. 6)…posted a hit in 30 of the 39 games played as a freshman…manufactured an eight-game hit streak from April 20 to May 4…also pitched for the Brewers, seeing 9.2 innings on the mound.
PRIOR TO VASSAR: Lettered two years in baseball at St. Ignatuis College Prep (CA) for head coach Mark Stecher…earned Second Team All-League and First Team All-San Francisco…CCS Champions…lettered two years in basketball.
PERSONAL: Parents are Ken and Suzann...brother to Sam and Maggie…majors in economics…chose Vassar over Bucknell, Holy Cross, Villanova, Washington University at St. Louis and University of San Diego.
