POUGHKEEPSIE, NY - Head Women's Volleyball Coach
Grace Campbell has resigned from her position at Vassar College to take a coaching position with the
USA Volleyball's Women's Sitting National Team.
Campbell finished her first season with the Brewers with an 8-15 overall record and a 3-5 mark in Liberty League matches. Vassar reeled off three straight victories in October with a five-set win over Union College followed by back-to-back sweeps of conference foe St. Lawrence and non-conference rival SUNY Cobleskill. The Brewers ended the season with two consecutive victories over United States Merchant Marine Academy and Utica on November 9.

Maura McAusland named All-Liberty League Second Team for the second straight season as McAusland led the team in service aces with 45 while ranking second on the squad in kills with 277. McAusland tallied 152 digs, good for fifth on the team, and also recorded 30 blocks which was tied for fourth on the team. McAusland's 45 aces was seventh in the conference while her 277 kills was seventh-best in the Liberty League.
Vassar tied for the Liberty League high in All-Academic team selections with 11 this season and seniors
Molly Ardren and
Julia Hale along with juniors
Rebecca Gutierrez and
Ellie Kogan were each named a College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District selection.
Campbell will continue with recruiting efforts through the month of June and a national coaching search will be begin immediately.
