Troy, NY - The Liberty League announced its All-League selections on Tuesday afternoon as sophomore Shea Fitzgerald was named the Player of the Year and an All-Liberty League First Team selection along with classmate Avery Lee earning All-Liberty League First Team honors. In addition, Head Coach Ryan Mee and assistant coach Leo Clibanoff were honored as the Liberty League Coaching Staff of the Year.

Fitzgerald was named the Liberty League Player of the Year, the first since Zach Johnson in 2022, and an All-First Team Liberty League selection after leading the league in points per game with 19.7 and in free throw percentage at 88.0. Fitzgerald was an integral part of the team earning the #3 seed in the Liberty League Championship and winning 12 regular season conference games for the first time in school history. He also was named the Liberty League Performer of the Week three times this season.

Fitzgerald ranks in the top-75 in the country in points per game and is 25th nationally in free throw percentage. Lee was named an All-Liberty League First Team selection after finishing second on the team behind the Player of the Year and teammate Fitzgerald with 15.5 points per game. Lee poured in a career-high 33 points in a victory over Union and was named the Liberty League Performer of the Week twice this season. Lee helped lead Vassar to its most regular season conference victories in a season with 12 and helped the Brewers get the #3 seed in the Liberty League Championship after being picked eighth in the preseason poll.

Mee and Clibanoff were selected as the Liberty League Coaching Staff of the Year after earning the third seed in the Liberty League Championship and winning 12 conference regular season games for the first time in school history.
