Olivia Pocat (Saratoga, CA) sits in a tie for second and just one shot off the lead.
Pocat turned in a strong opening round for the Brewers, carding a 77 (+5) on Saturday. Pocat recorded four birdies on Saturday, including on the par 5 eighth and par 5 17
th. Pocat made the turn at even par after birdieing the final three holes of the front nine.
Fellow First Year
Teaen Sweet (Surprise, AZ) finished Saturday's round in 17
th place after shooting an 85 (+13) for the Brewers. Sweet carded birdies on eight and nine to make the turn six-over par and added a birdie the par five 15
th on the back nine.

Sophia Calvillo (Long Beach, CA) is in the 20
th position after shooting a 91 (+19) on Saturday with sophomore
Katrina Wu (Great Neck, NY) following closely after carding a 93 (+21) on Saturday.
Nalinda Wanikpun from NYU holds the first round individual lead with a four-over par 76, leading four players by a single stroke. NYU holds the team lead with a score of 308 and is six shots clear of second place Wellesley.
Sunday's second round will tee off at 12:00 with the 2024 conference champion crowned at the conclusion of play.
