Troy, NY – Vassa College First Year forward Alice Crowley (St. Louis, MO) has been named the Liberty League Rookie of the Week for the third straight time and fourth time overall in 2024 it was announced by the conference office on Monday.
 
Crowley scored a goal in each of the Brewers' two games last week as Vassar went 1-1. Crowley found the back of the net for the 10^th time and scored her team leading fourth game winning goal on Wednesday in a 2-0 win at Farmingdale State. Crowley added her 11^th  goal of the season in a tight 2-1 home loss to league rival Skidmore on Saturday.
 
Through 11 games to start her career, Crowley leads the team with 11 goals, four game winners, and 24 points. Among the Liberty League leaders, Crowley sits atop the rankings in total goals (11), game winning goals (4) and points (24).
 
At 7-2-2 overall and 2-1-0 in Liberty League play, Vassar returns to action on October 12 when it travels to William Smith. Kick-off with the Herons is scheduled for 1:00 p.m.
