NEW HARTFORD, NY - The Vassar College women's golf team wrapped-up action at the Hamilton College Fall Invitational on Sunday, concluding final round play in 12th overall. The Brewers recorded a score of 809 following day two action, which featured 14 other teams at the Yahnundasis Golf Club. The Brewers posted an opening round score of 389 and were 420 on day two.
Vassar was paced by junior
Sufana Noorwez, who finished in a tie for 45th overall with a score of 172 (88-84). Rookie
Peiyun Wu placed 62nd overall with a score of 197 (93-104), while classmate
Mackenzie Shultz was 67th with a mark of 213 (108-105).
Sophomore
Victoria Barrios Cabral rounded out the scoring for the Brewers, finishing 78th with a score of 249 (122-127).
The Brewers return to action next weekend, competing at the Wesleyan Fall Invitational. Action begins on Saturday and runs through Sunday at
Lyman Orchards Jones Course in Middlefield, CT.
