BETHLEHEM, PA – First-year Faye Stevens broke her program record in the heptathlon at Thursday's All-Atlantic Region Track & Field Conference (AARTFC) Championships held at Moravian University.
Stevens placed fourth in the long jump with a mark of 5.06 meters and then was fourth in the javelin at 27.20 meters. She closed out the day by taking seventh in the 800-meter race with a time of 2:35.19 and finished with 3,893 points.
The Brewers raced a 4x100 relay of Malinda Smith, Ava Novak, Lola Perez-Fry, and Traci Francis that placed tenth at a program-record 48.95.
In the long jump, Novak and Perez-Fry went 21st and 22nd, respectively. Both recorded a mark of 5.20-meters.
Senior Gibran Mourani was the lone men's runner on the day and raced in the 1,500-meter. He closed his career strong, running a personal record time of 3:58.86 to place 17th overall.
