POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – Vassar College head swimming and diving coach Lisl Prater-Lee has announced the hiring of Alex Lee as the new full-time assistant coach for the 2022-23 season. He will also serve as the aquatics director for Kresge Pool.
 
Lee comes to Vassar following a stint last year as the volunteer assistant swimming coach at Carthage College, assisting the head coaches during practice and competitions. He also served as the Esports Graduate Assistant, leading out-of-state recruiting efforts, as well as assisting in daily practices and competitions. He also served as a producer of the team's Twitch streams.
 
Prior to his time at Carthage, Lee served as the assistant swim coach at Alma College, helping facilitate four school records during the 2019-20 season. He also served as the recruiting coordinator, helping to bring in 17 recruits to the 2020 recruiting class and 13 to the 2021 class.
 
A four-year letterwinner at Kalamazoo College, Lee swam his collegiate career for the Hornets. He graduated from Kalamazoo in 2019 with a Bachelor of Arts in History, moving on to complete at Master of Science in Business with a Sports Management track at Carthage in 2022.
