Phoebe Campbell Added to Swimming & Diving Coaching Staff

Will also serve as Aquatics Director for Kresge Pool

POUGHKEEPSIE, NY – Vassar College head swimming and diving coach Lisl Prater-Lee has announced the hiring of Phoebe Campbell as the new full-time assistant coach. She will also assume the role of aquatics manager for Kresge Pool.
 
"We are very excited to have Phoebe join Vassar Swimming and Diving," stated Prater-Lee. "We are excited about Phoebe's wealth of experiences and all that will add to the swimming and diving program and to our Department."

Campbell comes to Vassar after serving as the head site coach for the Arkansas Dolphins since 2020. With the Dolphins, she wrote and supervised all practices, coached athletes to sectional and NCSA qualifying times, while also overseeing the development and progression of the swim program.
 
In addition to her work with the Dolphins, Campbell also served as the aquatics director for Cabot Parks and Recreation for the past year, directing and coordinating all events and programs for the Cabot Aquatic Park. She also supervised a staff of over 50 employees, while coordinating various leagues and championships.
 
Campbell was a graduate assistant swimming coach at Ball State University during the 2019-20 season. There she researched and corresponded with recruits, analyzed swim meet video, assisted with team travel and provided practice feedback for student-athletes.
 
In addition to her previous work, Campbell also served as a coach and counselor at the Texas A&M Swim Camp in 2019. She spent two years as the assistant pool manager and assistant swim coach at the Searcy Swim Center and prior to that served a year and a half as the aquatics director for the Hot Springs YMCA.
 
A 2016 graduate of Henderson State University, Campbell earned a Bachelor's in General Studies. She is currently pursuing her Masters Degree in Sports Administration.
